Spirale
A blend of 50% Savagnin and 50% Poulsard.This liqueur is one of the famous Jura vins de pailles (straw wines). The grapes are hand - harvested at the moment of perfect ripeness and left to dry on beds of straw until they are 80% dehydrated. This produces intense sweetness in the remaining juice, which is fermented for a year and then aged in barrels for several years, resulting in a dense wine of aromatic complexity.
Spirale is fruity with flavours of dry grapes, apricots, honey and an astonishing spicy undertone.
Serve chilled, it is ideal as an aperitif. it is also a delicious match for acidulous desserts such as tart tatin or apricot tart. Or quite simply, this could be your dessert.
Can be laid down for up to 30 years.
